The new parents have officially (and finally) made an announcement about the newest addition to the music dynasty.

Hello Hello Baby Blue!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven.

She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.

If you listen closely, you may have noticed:

- Blue Ivy was conceived in Paris at the same time she did her album shoot for 4 and celebrated their third wedding anniversary (you was made in Paris, and Momma woke up the next day and shot her album package)
- Beyonce may have had a miscarriage before conceiving Blue Ivy (Last time, the miscarriage was so tragic. We was afraid you'd disappear but nah, Baby you magic! )
- The sound of a baby crying. Blue Ivy's, no doubt.
